I have over 35 years of experience in expediting permits for both commercial and residential projects; large and small. My expertise, afforded to me by my professional background as a licensed architect, is my ability to understand the material for which I am obtaining a permit for; therefore, I can act with forethought in anticipation of all regulatory requirements. My experience covers every spectrum of construction permit expediting; from departments of Building, Planning, Zoning, Fire prevention, Architectural review, Health Department and Environmental (DEC) that include special permits and variances.
In the past decade this service has increased exponentially on Long Island. It is essential when developing an investment property, whether residential or commercial, to approach these projects with a sharp focus on profitability without getting distracted by personal favor. I have extensive experience in modifying structures to reflect an updated floor plan along with an updated - esthetically pleasing design that will attract today’s buyer.
Aside from good design and construction practice it is important to factor in the amount of TIME that a project takes to develop. By being familiar with both the regulatory aspects of renovating a property as well as its planning and construction, we can compress the time between stages of a project’s development by first anticipating them and then overlapping them whenever possible.
It is important to develop a good relationship with your clients by listening carefully to their wishes and concerns, while simultaneously guiding them through the process of good architectural analysis. When both the architect and the client are working together for the sake of the project there is a symbiosis that occurs that gives birth to an almost magical set of results.
